OPA sponsors a yearly K-12 youth poetry contest for Oregon students. The contest awards many monetary prizes and is free for students to enter. The contest is open March 2nd to May 2nd. Poems can be submitted at opa.submittable.com.- There will be a special Spanish language poetry contest in the spring with no entry fee.
- Two adult poetry contests will take place this year, one to celebrate April National Poetry Month (no fee, for members only), a second one in Summer/Fall with multiple categories (open to anyone — members receive a reduced fee to enter)
