OSPA in Oregon

The Oregon State Poetry Association seeks to represent all poets within the state of Oregon. While many of our members are located in the Portland / Salem area, we also have strong units within the following regions:

Eugene/Springfield
Marys Peak (Corvallis and surrounding areas)
Umpqua Valley (Roseburg area)
Rogue Valley (Medford/Ashland area)

In addition, OSPA members reside in various points on the Oregon Coast, Klamath Falls, and parts of Eastern Oregon. Our bi-annual conference has been held in Waldport, Ashland, Pendleton, Salem, Roseburg, and other cities. Interested in starting a chapter in your area? Contact us!

OSPA's Mission:
To bring together, and nurture, the widest possible community of Oregon poets; to help Oregon poets, young and old, develop their talents and skills; to stimulate, at the grassroots level, a statewide appreciation of poetry; and, to raise public awareness of Oregon poets, past and present.

Airlie Press Call for Submissions

Airlie Press announces an open call for book-length poetry manuscripts. Two manuscripts will be selected, to be published in the fall of 2012.
